KIM ATTEBERRY

 

Founded in 2011, Vermilion Consulting helps varied organizations in the public and private sectors leverage the benefits of the federally mandated Immigrant Investor Program (EB-5).  Vermilion provides expert advice on project feasibility, financial structure compliance, job creation methodologies, and targeted employment area analyses.  In addition, Vermilion is recognized as one of the top companies authoring EB-5 economic analyses and business plans.  The company puts the right people and organizations in touch with each other, finds novel solutions to difficult issues, and works within a team framework to address problems.

Vermilion Consulting founder, Kim Atteberry, was previously the Chief Economist of United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). She attained that position through her proven track record, organizational skills, and change management abilities. Her keen economics experience and insider’s insight has successfully shepherded many of our client’s projects to their ultimate goal.  To support her vision for a premier economic consulting firm, she has hand-picked a team of professionals with a shared commitment to accuracy, reliability, integrity, and respect.

Kim Atteberry

Ms. Kimberly Atteberry is the President of Vermilion Consulting LLC. Vermilion helps varied organizations leverage the benefits of the Immigrant Investor Program (EB-5).  Vermilion Consulting provides expert advice on project feasibility, EB-5 compliant business plans, job creation analysis, and targeted employment area (TEA) analysis.  

Prior to Vermilion, Ms. Atteberry was the Chief Economist of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.  In 2000 & 2002, Ms. Atteberry taught Economics and Marketing at the United States Air Force Academy as one of a select group of civilian instructors. 

Chris Atteberry

Chris Atteberry is a founding partner of Vermilion Consulting.  He orchestrates a number of functions for the company, including business development, client relations, mathematical and GIS modeling, and outreach to state and local governments.

Before forming Vermilion Consulting, Chris served in the United States Air Force from 1989 to 2011, performing multitudinous duties including flying and academic training, combat planning, and command.  He concluded his tenure with the Air Force as the Deputy Director for Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief in OSD-Policy, the Pentagon.  He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Duke University in 1989 and his Master of Science from the University of Virginia in 1998.

Ian PerrY

Ian Perry has been a managing partner of Vermilion Consulting since 2020 and began as an Economic Analyst for the company in 2016.  He serves a variety of functions including authoring EB-5 compliant economic analyses & business plans for regional center and project applications, targeted employment area analyses & letters, economic & GIS modeling, process improvement, research, and general administration. 

Prior to his time with Vermilion, he worked as a technical recruiter specializing in Business Analysis and Project Management for several Fortune 200 and 500 companies in Miami, FL.  Ian earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.   

 
 

Madelaine Atteberry

Maddy Atteberry has been a managing partner of Vermilion Consulting since 2022 and began as a consultant for the company in 2020.  She manages internal operations, company record keeping, marketing, and process improvement, as well as authoring economic analyses & business plans for regional center & project applications, and targeted employment area (TEA) analyses & letters.

Maddy earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Miami in Florida, and her Master of Science from the University of Colorado Boulder.  Prior to joining Vermilion Consulting, she worked as an administrator at the University of Colorado Boulder and as a records management specialist for the Hogan Lovells law firm in Denver.  She has a keen eye for detail, organization, and liability mitigation.
